Value Adjustment Board – Notice of Public Meetings

The list of dates below represents tentative meeting and hearing dates. VAB hearing dates are subject to change based on petition withdrawals and the volume of petitions received.

If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

Value Adjustment Board Meetings:

Meetings of the Value Adjustment Board are held in the Board Chambers, Second Floor, of the Lake County Administration Building, located at 315 W. Main St., Tavares, Florida.

VAB Special Magistrate Hearings:

Hearings before the Special Magistrates for either classification, exemption, tangible personal property, or valuation petitions are held in the Board Chambers, Second Floor, of the Lake County Administration Building, located at 315 W. Main St., Tavares, Florida. If you file a petition with the VAB, you will be sent a notice with your hearing date and time once it is scheduled.
