The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report presents a detailed look at the financial information of all County government operations, including the Board of County Commissioners, Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, Property Appraiser, Sheriff, Supervisor of Elections, and Tax Collector, by fiscal year. It is prepared in accordance with guidelines recommended by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) of the United States and Canada.
Government Finance Officers Association Award
The Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s Office has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the past 37 years.
According to the GFOA, the award is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
