Annual Audit Plan

The Inspector General Department is responsible for preparing an audit plan for each fiscal year. The plan includes the departments, programs, and services to be audited, is developed based on a risk assessment, and includes the input of the Board of County Commissioners.

While the approved Audit Plan consists of the audits to be performed within that fiscal year, nothing prevents the Clerk from making changes to the plan throughout the year, based on need.
