Important Notice: The Clerk’s Office is a Passport Acceptance Facility on behalf of the U.S. Department of State. Please ensure that you are eligible to submit your application at an Acceptance Facility. Those with travel plans in the near future may be required to process directly at a U.S. Department of State Passport Agency. The amount of time until travel for this requirement is subject to change. If you have upcoming travel plans, please visit the U.S. Department of State’s Get My Passport Fast webpage to determine if you are eligible to submit your application through our office (an Acceptance Facility). Book Passport Appointments Online:Appointments are required for passport applications and can be scheduled up to 60 days in advance.
Passport Processing Locations:The following three locations process passport applications and photos:
Passport Renewals:If certain Department of State criteria is met, you may mail a renewal application (Form DS-82) directly to the Department of State and will not incur the $35 fee to the Clerk of Court. To determine eligibility for mail-in renewal, visit the U.S. Department of State’s passport renewal website. NOTE: The Clerk’s Office is not permitted to execute Form DS-82 mail-in renewal forms. When renewing passports, the Clerk’s Office can review applications for accuracy, and mail them to the U.S. Department of State on your behalf. A $35 fee per application will apply, and Form DS-11 (provided by the U.S. Department of State) is required. NOTE: For new passport applications, you must appear in person, use Form DS-11 (provided by the U.S. Department of State) and pay a $35 fee. All forms are available at any of the three Clerk’s Office passport processing locations, or can be downloaded from the U.S. Department of State website. |
