Subscription Services – Official Records

Subscription services allow subscribed users, for a nominal fee, to have access to data reports that are available for download from a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) website.

The Clerk’s Office will notify you when your annual usage fee renewal is due. Typically, the annual usage fee must be paid before the beginning of each calendar year. The Clerk’s Office retains the right to make annual rate adjustments.

Court Records Subscription Service reports are also available.

Below are the current data reports offered by the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller for official records:

Official Records (OR) Search

In addition to the Official Records (OR) accessible on the public website, this search provides index and images for the following:

• Military Discharges
• Death Certificates
• Certain court documents, including documents relating to matters governed by the Florida Rules of Family Law, the Florida Rules of Juvenile Procedure, and the Florida Rules of Probate.

Associated Fees: One-time setup fee of $60, plus an annual subscription fee of $250.

FTP Site (Official Record (OR) Index and Images)

This subscription provides access to download the complete OR Index and Images for the last ten (10) business days. Documents before this time will no longer be available for download on the FTP site.

Associated Fees: One-time setup fee of $60 plus an annual subscription fee of $850. NOTE: If access to archival data that is no longer on the site is needed, there will be a charge of $25 for each day’s data extraction performed.

FTP Site (Plat Index and Images)

This subscription provides access to download the complete Plat Index and Images.

Associated Fees: New subscribers must pay $550 for the first year’s subscription, which includes the complete Plat Index and Image download, plus all monthly updates. A fee of $350 per year for subsequent year purchases is required, which includes twelve (12) monthly updates per year.

How to Enroll in the Official Records Subscription Services

An Official Records Subscriber Agreement (PDF) must be completed and submitted along with a check made payable to “Gary J. Cooney, Clerk of the Court & Comptroller” with the appropriate fees. NOTE: We do not accept cashier’s checks dated more than two (2) months from the issue date.
