Tax Rolls

The Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller is responsible for maintaining the records of historical tax rolls on all properties within Lake County. The tax roll data is prepared and certified by the Lake County Property Appraiser and delivered to the Lake County Tax Collector.

The Tax Collector must deliver the original tax roll to the Clerk after completing the collection of taxes, selling certificates for non-payment of taxes, and balancing the rolls to account for all taxes.

Tax Roll data from 1998 through current may be available by visiting the Lake County Tax Collector’s website. Records prior to 1998 are available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller upon request.
