Payment PlansPayment plans are agreements between you and the Lake County Clerk of Court to assist in the payment of fines, fees, and court costs. Court payment plans are managed through the Courts Management Department, and allow you to make periodic payments related to civil cases, criminal cases, and traffic citations. There is a service charge of $25 for establishing a payment plan. Failure to make timely payments pursuant to the terms of a payment plan may result in the assessment of late fees and driver license suspension pursuant to Sections 318.15 and 322.245, Florida Statutes. Any three missed payments may result in your case being referred to a collection agency, and the collection agency may add additional fees of up to 40% to the outstanding balance pursuant to Section 28.246(6), Florida Statutes.
