Registered UsersAccess to court records is governed by court rules and administrative orders issued by the Florida Supreme Court, not by Chapter 119, Florida Statutes. Some court records may not be viewable by persons other than those directly involved in the case (e.g. – parties to the case, attorneys of record, authorized state/local government agencies). Accessibility of court records is generally based on the case type, the content of the document to be viewed, and the relationship of the person making the request to the case. In order to have greater access to a case, based on your access level, it is recommended that you become a registered user. Registered users should complete a Registration Agreement Form (PDF), and submit via email to [email protected], or deliver or mail it to the Lake County Courthouse, Attn: Central Intake, 550 W. Main St., Tavares, FL 32778. There are no fees associated with registered user access. In order to provide enhanced security, registered users will be prompted to change their password every 90 days. If you are unable to access your account or have issues logging into the system using your provided login credentials, email [email protected], or call the Information Technology Department’s Service Desk at (352) 630-5050. Password information is not provided over the phone.
