Lake County Clerk’s Office to close due to impending inclement weatherTAVARES, FL — All offices of the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller will be closed beginning at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, and will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and Thursday, Oct. 10, in anticipation of severe weather due to Hurricane Milton. All services are anticipated to reopen on Friday, Oct. 11; however, if additional closures are needed due to the storm’s impact, further announcements will be made. Payments for all in-person payment processing will be unavailable during the closure, and due dates will be extended for customers who have a payment deadline during the closure. Most fees and fines owed for traffic and criminal cases can still be made online by visiting CLERKPay. Payments may also be made by phone at (352) 608-3008 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, or from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
