Lake County Clerk’s Office to close for Memorial DayTAVARES —All offices of the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller will be closed on Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day.
Persons summoned for jury duty on Tuesday, May 27, should call 352-742-4162 or visit the Juror Reporting Status Portal on Friday, May 23, after 5 p.m. for reporting instructions. To make an online payment for most fees and fines owed for traffic and criminal cases, visit CLERKPay. Payments by phone will be unavailable on Monday, May 26. Regular operating hours for payments by phone are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, or from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, by calling (352) 608-3008. For those looking to make a next-business-day payment, submit documents for recording, or deliver court documents for filing, the Clerk’s Office offers convenient drop-box locations for these services, which are available 24/7.
