Circuit Civil

The Circuit Civil Section processes the filings of all civil matters filed in the Circuit Court where the amount of damages sought is more than $50,000. Examples of the types of Circuit Civil lawsuits filed are:

Some case types which are not within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Circuit Court may also be heard in the County Court so long as the matter in controversy does not exceed the jurisdictional amount of the County Court, $50,000.

Circuit Civil also processes the filing of administrative appeals to the Circuit Court.
