Ordinance Violations

The Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s Office performs services related to ordinance violations filed in County Court.

Local government ordinances are the governing laws, regulations, and rules put in place by cities and the county. Ordinance violations can result in the issuance of a fine or Notice to Appear in court.

Some examples of ordinance violations include possessing or consuming alcohol in a municipal park, panhandling, or municipal animal control violations.
