Child Support

In cooperation with the State of Florida Disbursement Unit (SDU), the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s Office acts as the central depository for receiving, recording, reporting, monitoring, and disbursing child support payments, in accordance with Florida law.

Florida law also directs that the Clerk’s Office process liens for nonpayment of child support.

Child Support payments can be paid online at www.paykidz.com or in-person at the Lake County Courthouse, Domestic Relations Section, 550 W. Main St., East Wing, First Floor, Tavares.
