What are the fees for filing a dissolution of marriage?

The fees required include those for filing, the issuance of summons, and the processing of the Bureau of Vital Statistics form. These fees are payable to “Gary J. Cooney, Clerk.” There are additional fees paid to third-parties for the required service of summons. Review the Domestic Relations’ Fee Schedule for more information.

The Lake County Family Court Case Management Office assists self-represented litigants with general and procedural information and provides checklists for your convenience. The self-help Case Management Office will personally review papers to ensure all the appropriate forms are filed to move the case toward final disposition.
