Records & Administrative Services

The Records & Administrative Services Department consists of three divisions:

  • The Administrative Services Division provides human resources, purchasing, and other support services to the Clerk’s Office.
  • The Official Records Division processes all documents to be recorded into the Official Records of Lake County and researches these records for those needing this information. The Division is also responsible for processing tax deed, marriage license, and passport applications.
  • The Records Storage Division maintains an archive of historical, administrative, and court records, provides centralized inter-office and postal services for county entities, and maintains the Clerk’s vehicles.
