Lake County Clerk offers extended passport processing hours during Spring Break
The extended passport processing hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and are by appointment only at the North Lake Branch Office, 902 Avenida Central, The Villages, and the South Lake Branch Office, 290 Citrus Tower Blvd., Suite 116, Clermont. “This is a great opportunity for those unable to visit our office during our regular operating hours to apply for their passport,” said Gary Cooney, Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller. “We’re hoping that by offering an additional As a U.S. Department of State (DOS) acceptance facility, the Lake County Clerk’s Office assists residents with reviewing and submitting U.S. passport applications sent to the DOS for processing. After booking an appointment, customers will receive an email confirmation with additional information and instructions on documentation to bring with them.
