No, the ceremony rooms at the Courthouse and The Villages locations are not available for rent. They are provided for quick, simple civil ceremonies only.
Ceremonies are simple, civil ceremonies that last approximately five minutes.
The ceremony room at the Lake County Courthouse in Tavares accommodates up to 10 guests. The Villages’ location has a marriage ceremony room that accommodates up to 6 guests. The Clermont location does not have a ceremony room and therefore cannot accommodate guests. Ceremonies in Clermont are performed directly at the marriage license clerk’s workstation.
