Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the finance department (including Board Accounting and Clerk Finance), the accuracy of the monthly financial statements and for the annual financial reports for the Board of County Commissioners (BCC), the Clerk of Courts (Clerk), the Lake County Water Authority (LCWA), and the Lake-Sumter Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). This position is classified as exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. This is a traditional, in-person position. Starts at $48.28 per hour ($94,146.00 annually).
